Official: Vaccine unlikely to have caused death
Tue Sep 29, 2009
I guess what bothers me is that if this vaccine did cause her death (and it's unlikely it was caused by something else), it would be HUGE to you if it were your daughter.
Volunteers sought for testing swine flu shots

Don't do it!!!!
Lung cancer risk from radon in homes found
Tue Jul 21, 2009
Easy, relatively inexpensive solutions are readily available for homeowners. It's cheap to test, as well. Everyone should test their air and water (if you have a well).
Kids may be first in line for swine flu shots
Tue Jun 16, 2009
No, thank you!! Safety testing during the summer for vaccinating in the fall? Doesn't seem like much of a study. I do not think it will be mandatory anymore than the others are. It will be strongly recommended.
Will you get a swine flu vaccine if one is developed?
Wed May 13, 2009
Spoke to my son's pediatrician today and he said so far, it has been milder than seasonal flu. I'd rather get it and have some lasting immunity than put my trust in the vaccine manufacturer and government.
Filling the gap to feed hungry students
Wed Apr 22, 2009
The little overweight recipient of the pack said it all, "I'm a big fruit fan when it's not...fruit." I live in a town with similar statistics in terms of the number of children on subsidized meals. We do quite a lot of donating, but it never feels like enough.
Should all males be circumcised?
Tue Mar 31, 2009
We did not circumcise our now five year-old boy and everything seems just fine. His dad is circumcised but our son has never said a word about it and neither have we. I think this is more cultural than anything else. I have never been with an intact male, so I can't speak to what the differences are.
How much should you spend on groceries?
Mon Mar 16, 2009
I agree with the original poster. Everytime I hear about cost cutting based on sales or coupons, I wonder what the heck these people are eating. I have a child with food allergies plus we eat mostly organic and fresh foods. It's expensive to eat well.
Rise in infant suffocation tied to bed-sharing
Mon Jan 26, 2009
I don't buy it. There's something else going on here. We bed-shared as have most of the families I know without incident. If you're nursing, it's the most obvious, restful way to go.
